Last but not least, the production of aluminum cylinders is constantly improved thanks to the collaboration with the best Italian universities and to the permanent development requests of the best engine tuners.

Thanks to a flexible production department, Athena can efficiently respond to different situations (production batches of OE manufacturers, small quantities, building a prototype for racing teams).

Athena cylinders are made of high quality aluminum alloys. They are manufactured using the latest technologies and coated with a nickel-silicon alloy. After all cylinders have passed the strict quality controls, they meet the highest standards of reliability, durability and performance.

Features:

- Special 3D software is capable of generating virtual simulations and mechanical loads

- Aluminum cylinders are cast in steel molds and manufactured with CNC machines (thousandths of tolerances can thus be guaranteed at all stages of production)

- Revised water channels to increase capacity

- Cylinder liners are made of a special silicone carbide and nickel mixture to ensure the best piston mileage and cylinder durability

- Tested at an internal temperature of approximately 20 degrees, for the best possible inspection of the bores and cylinders

- Cylinder surfaces are perfectly flat to eliminate any fit inaccuracies
